YEREVAN, MARCH 11, ARMENPRESS. Deputy Prime Minister of Armenia Mher Grigoryan received newly appointed Ambassador of the USA to Armenia Lynne Tracy.

As ARMENPRESS was informed from the Office of Mher Grigoryan, the Deputy PM congratulated Lynne Tracy on assuming the position of the Ambassador, wishing her success in the implementation of her diplomatic mission in Armenia. Highly appreciating the US assistance to Armenia, the Deputy PM noted that the Republic of Armenia attaches great importance to the future deepening and development of relations between Armenia and the USA. Deputy PM Mher Grigoryan presented to the Ambassador the priorities of the Government’s Action Plan and highlighted the cooperation with the partners for the implementation of the reforms.

Thanking for the reception, Ambassador Lynne Tracy said, “Mr. Grigoryan, I am confident that by today's meeting with you, a series of straightforward, open and effective dialogue that will allow Armenia and the United States to build stronger ties of partnership and cooperation is launched”.

During the meeting the sides exchanged views on the opportunities of creating favorable investment environment in Armenia and prospects for the development of the Armenian-U.S. cooperation.
