The Eurasian Economic Union needs to have a common algorithm of digital technologies, discussions over which will kick off in the near future, ARMENPRESS reports Russian President Vladimir Putin announced during an annual press conference. “You say that people engaged in small and medium businesses have little access to information. I have to admit that you are right. It’s really so”, Putin said, answering the remark that small and medium entrepreneurs are not aware of the opportunities given by the Eurasian Economic Union.

The Russian President noted that first of all it’s necessary to switch to modern technologies. “One of the directions of our future joint activities is the IT sector. Currently, we develop algorithms not only for the spheres of oil, gas trade, transport but also in the sphere of digital technologies. I have talked to all of my partners about that and I think in the near future, at the end of this month, we will gather to discuss it. I hope we will gather in the sidelines of the CIS, but we will talk about that also with our EAEU partners “, Vladimir Putin said.
