YEREVAN, JUNE 7, ARMENPRESS. The suicide bomber in Iran’s Ayatollah Khomeini mausoleum was a woman, according to Mehr news agency.

According to the news agency, the attacker detonated the suicide vest in the western entrance of the mausoleum, which is located in southern Tehran.

Fars news agency said 4 gunmen, including the woman suicide bomber, were among the attackers.

According to other reports, another bomb was defused at the scene.
