YEREVAN, MAY 22, ARMENPRESS. Speaker of the Parliament of Armenia Ara Babloyan sent a congratulatory letter to Armenia’s Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Swiss Confederation, the National Hero of Armenia Charles Aznavour on the occasion of his birthday, press service of the Parliament told Armenpress.

Ara Babloyan’s congratulatory letter reads:

“Your art, walking through time and generations, unites different cultures, countries and people. Belonging to one of the popular song art directions, it is national and all-human - at the same time peculiar, that is, Aznavour-like.

Your voice and performing art are equally unique, and thanks to all this, the songs sounding in your performance have а happy destiny, enjoying for many years the audience’s love and affection. Today, keeping inside me the indelible impressions received from your songs, I warmly remember also my meetings with you in Armenia and France”.
