Constitutional Court completes examination of Congress-ADP election dispute

YEREVAN, APRIL 28, ARMENPRESS. The Constitutional Court of Armenia has completed examining the application of Congress-ADP regarding the April 2 parliamentary election results.

Both sides delivered their concluding speeches during an April 28 court session.

ANC vice-president Levon Zurabyan and attorney Vahe Grigoryan represented Congress-ADP, while Central Electoral Commission’s chairman Tigran Mukuchyan and Secretary Armen Smbatyan represented the CEC.

President of the Constitutional Court Gagik Harutyunyan said the first stage is completed and the court must hold a consultation to deliver a verdict.

“When the verdict will be available for release, we will inform beforehand”, he said.

Congress-ADP applied to the CC to dispute the parliamentary election results.
