Turkey mulls not sending delegation to PACE

YEREVAN, APRIL 28, ARMENPRESS. Turkish foreign minister Mevlut Cavusoglu vowed to make PACE regret degrading his country’s status to ‘under monitoring’, HaberTurk reported.

Cavusoglu mentioned that during previous years Turkey had increased its investments in PACE budget. “We will decrease it, we will make minimal payments. Currently we are discussing whether or not to send a delegation. From now on they won’t see the previous cooperation. We have other actions to take also. Let them now they will regret this”, he said.

The Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe has degraded Turkey’s status to ‘under monitoring’.
