YEREVAN, APRIL 27, ARMENPRESS. It’s impossible to reach a quick and peaceful settlement to Nagorno Karabakh conflict due to the unconstructive position of Azerbaijan, RPA spokesperson, Vice President of the National Assembly of Armenia Eduard Sharmazanov told the reporters after the Executive Body meeting of the party.

 “We have mentioned that we positively assess the efforts of the Minsk Group Co-chairs aimed at a peaceful settlement to Nagorno Karabakh conflict several times, but we have also mentioned for several times that there is one obstacle for a quick and peaceful settlement. It is the unconstructive position of our neighboring Azerbaijan”, “Armenpress” reports Sharmazanov saying.

He stressed that the agreements reached at the Vienna and St. Petersburg summits must be implemented and if they are not implemented or half-implemented Azerbaijan is the only one to be to blame. “The position of the Armenian side has not changed and it is rather clear. Both President Serzh Sargsyan and Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian have touched this issue”, he said.
