Vahagn Vermishyan leaves position in Russia to return to Armenia

YEREVAN, APRIL 7, ARMENPRESS. Chief architect of Russia’s Orlov district Vahagn Vermishyan has quit.

According to his own desire to step down from the post, the announcement of Vermishyan’s resignation has been signed by first deputy governor Alexander Budarin on April 3.

According to РИА57, Vermishyan left the position after receiving a high-ranking position offer from Armenia. No details are disclosed yet.

Vermishyan was born in Stepanavan. From 1989-1991 he was chief architect of Stepanavan, and afterwards he moved to Russia.

He held the chief architect post since 2014.
