More than 8.000 people leave Aleppo’s eastern part within last 24 hours

YEREVAN, DECEMBER 9, ARMENPRESS. More than 8.000 people left Aleppo’s eastern part within the last 24 hours, the Russian Center for Reconciliation of the warring parties in Syria said, reports TASS.

"Only in the past 24 hours, a total of 8,461 residents, including 2,934 children, left the areas that remain under the militant control, with the assistance of the Russian Center for reconciliation of the warring parties”, the statement reads as quoted by TASS.

Moreover, 14 militants laid down weapons and surrendered to the Syrian troops. “According to the decision of Syria’s President, they will be amnestied”, the center for reconciliation said.
