YEREVAN, OCTOBER 20, ARMENPRESS. The Government of Armenia approved the proposal on signing the agreement on “Cooperation of the CIS participating states in the mining metallurgy sector”, reports “Armenpress”.

Minister of Nature Protection Artsvik Minasyan said the agreement aims to confront external challenges.

“Steps will be taken towards deepening the cooperation ties between the mining-metallurgy enterprises and companies operating in the CIS states aimed at enhancing the economic efficiency, as well as updating the technological and innovative systems, installing energy-saving and environmental systems”, Minasyan said.
