Deputy Speaker of Armenian Parliament to depart for Poland

YEREVAN, AUGUST 30, ARMENPRESS. Deputy Speaker of Armenian Parliament Hermine Naghdalyan will arrive in Poland on a two-day working visit.

She will take part in the parliamentary meeting of the Central and Eastern European countries, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Armenia to Poland Edgar Ghazaryan said, “Armenpress” reported.

By the invitation of the President of Parliament of Poland, Deputy Speaker of the Armenian Parliament Hermine Naghdalyan will take part in “Solidarity and Sovereignty” parliamentary meeting of the Central and Eastern European countries on August 30-31 in Warsaw.

Parliament Speakers, Vice-Speakers, MPs and other high-ranking officials from over 10 countries, including Georgia, Serbia, Macedonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Belarus, Turkey, Azerbaijan, will attend the meeting.

During the visit official meetings are scheduled with President of Poland Andrzej Duda, President of the Sejm of Poland (Marshal) Marek Kuchciński and President of the Senate of Poland (Marshal) Stanisław Karczewski.

Bilateral meetings will be held with the parliamentary delegation of Poland during which issues related to multilateral cooperation between the National parliaments of Central and Eastern Europe will be discussed.

During the round table and separate discussions issues related to Europe’s security and the refugees, strategic issues related to the regional cooperation of Central and Eastern Europe will be discussed.

Hermine Naghdalyan will deliver a speech related to the revival of the European Union and the regional cooperation during the parliamentary meeting.
