Inmate’s minor brothers attempt to smuggle cell phones, pills into prison
11:12, 26 August, 2016YEREVAN, AUGUST 26, ARMENPRESS. Two minors attempted to smuggle cell phones and pills to the “Artik” correctional facility.
The minors intended to visit their elder brother – an inmate of the facility.
On August 24, at 16:30, while searching the visitors upon entry, prison guards discovered 3 packages hidden in their shoes.
The package included 8 pills, 36.5 gram green substance, 1.9 gram white powder, 10 yellow pills, 7 mobile phones, 1 battery and 1 wifi device.
The unknown substances have been sent to chemical expertise.
Investigation is underway.
