Manvel Badeyan promises to strengthen cooperation between Armenia and Kuwait in all sectors

YEREVAN, JUNE 6, ARMENPRESS. Manvel Badeyan was not surprised by being appointed Ambassador of Armenia to Kuwait.

To the question why it was decided to appoint him Ambassador in Kuwait, he said Kuwait is not his choice. “Nevertheless, I know a lot about Kuwait since I have visited there several times. Kuwait is a friendly country for us, and has strong ties with Armenia. It seems that the former Ambassador made lots of works in Kuwait, we have friendly relations with that country”, “Armenpress” reports, Badeyan stated.

There were various meetings with the Kuwait leadership over the past year, the Prime Minister tried to establish business ties, and in recently the Justice Minister of Armenia visited there.

To the question, what will be his mission during his tenure, is he going to strengthen the business ties, Badeyan stated: “It is one of my duties, there is a need to develop all sectors, including political, economic and cultural. One of the major missions for Ambassador is to strengthen the ties between the two states”.

President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan signed a decree appointing Manvel Badeyan Ambassador of Armenia to Kuwait.
