YEREVAN, JANUARY 26, ARMENPRESS. “Armenpress” state news agency introduces on the air of Lratvakan.am all that you will read, hear and see on today’s news.

PACE’s winter session started on January 25. It is expected that today – on January 26 – the two anti-Armenian draft resolutions will be discussed which are included in PACE’s winter session agenda. There will be publications about the core discussion but also the analyses, opinions of different state, public figures and politicians will be presented. Namely, the first Human Rights Defender of Armenia Larisa Alaverdyan and political scientist Alexander Manasyan will talk on the topic.

Many state agencies will review last year’s activities on January 26. Republic of Armenia Minister of Defense Seyran Ohanyan, Chairman of the State Committee of Science Samvel Haroutiunian, as well as the Chief Compulsory Enforcement Officer of the Republic of Armenia Mihran Poghosyan will sum up the activities of the previous year. They will also introduce the plans for 2016.

The possibilities for disaster risk management in Armenia will be estimated. The subject will be discussed during the upcoming working meeting organized by the Ministry of Territorial Administration and Emergency Situations of the Republic of Armenia jointly with the World Bank and the United Nations Development Programme.

Meeting of State officials and businessmen. The possibilities of the development of the trade relations between Armenia and Canada will be introduced to Armenian businessmen. Canada Ambassador to Armenia, state officials, heads of leading trade networks in Armenia, representatives of leading companies will attend the meeting.

There will be publications about the renowned Armenian writer Paruyr Sevak on today’s news. It is the writer’s birthday today.  Young writers will speak about the writer’s life and activity during the event held at the National Library of Armenia.
