YEREVAN, OCTOBER 6, ARMENPRESS։ Armenia has joined the festive events devoted to the International Tourism Day. Prominent representatives of the field and heads of state agencies have gathered in the Yerevan railway station to sum up the tourist year and congratulate the employees of the tourist companies.  

The festive event was attended also by the Minister of Economy of the Republic of Armenia Karen Chshmarityan, who reminded that tourism plays essential role in the development of the economy of Armenia and assured that the Government will continue keeping its attention on the field.
