YEREVAN, MAY 20, ARMENPRESS. It is a few weeks the art Museum in Moritsburg-Saxony-Anhalt region of Germany has hosted “Minas and Narek Avetisyan. Modernity and vanguard in Armenia” large-scale exhibition. During the exhibition the audience enjoyed 19 works by Minas Avetisyan and 9 works by the son of the painter Narek Avetisyan. Besides the exhibition, the German people were given opportunity to watch two Armenian films.

At the course of the press conference devoted to the end of the exhibition the painter Narek Avetisyan underscored that the exhibition had great popularity among the German visitors. “The interest was great, many visitors attended. People also wrote about their impressions. I think that especially Minas Avetisyan was a discovery for the German society since by means of him they were able to imagine the Armenian art and rebellious spirit during the years of the Soviet Union,” Narek Avetisyan said as reported by Armenpress.
