YEREVAN, JANUARY 24, ARMENPRESS: The adoption of the bill penalizing the denial of the Armenian Genocide by the France's Senate will serve as an example for other European countries, vice chairman of the National Assembly of Armenia Eduard Sharmazanov told a news conference today.

"Everyone must realize that denial of the Genocide is a crime just like its implementation," Sharmazanov said. He considered the decision of the Senate very important not only in respect of making Armenian-French relations closer but for the process of international recognition of the Armenian Genocide.
