YEREVAN, JANUARY 13, ARMENPRESS: Over 800 000 passengers used the services of ‘Armavia’ airline in 2010. An official from the company told Armenpress that in 2009 the number made 700 000.

This year the company acquired another A-320 airplane, which is named after Hovhannes Baghramyan, marshal, Armenian hero of the Great Patriotic War. There are already 6 such airplanes in the air park of the company.

‘Armavia’ airline has 3 A-320 planes, 3 A-319, one ИЛ-86, one ЯК-42-VIP and one CRJ-200 planes. In 2011 the company intends to acquire a plane for transatlantic flights and 2 CRJ-200 planes.
