YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 24, ARMENPRESS. Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia Major General Edward Asryan received the NATO Advisory Group, ARMENPRESS reports the General Staff of the Armed Forces issued a statement.

From November 21 to 24, the advisory group of the NATO "Partnership for Peace" consortium of the "Development of Defense Education" program in Armenia held a seminar titled "The role and importance of the professional sergeant system in the modern armed forces" for representatives of the Ministry of Defense and the Armed Forces of Armenia.

Within the framework of the event, the foreign partners presented the features and development trends of the professional sergeant system in the modern armed forces, its role in the armed forces and modern warfare.

Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces, First Deputy Minister of Defense, Major General Edward Asryan received the Advisory Group of the "Development of Defense Education" Armenian program. During the meeting, the results of the event were summarized, the ways of further interaction were outlined.
