YEREVAN, DECEMBER 6, ARMENPRESS. Foreign Minister of Armenia Zohrab Mnatsakanyan, who is in Bratislava on a working visit, met with acting Foreign Minister of Albania Gent Cakaj, the Armenian MFA told Armenpress.

The Armenian FM congratulated his Albanian counterpart on assuming the upcoming OSCE chairmanship, reaffirming the support of the Armenian side to the priorities of the Albanian chairmanship.

The officials exchanged views on the cooperation issues within the OSCE, the problems faced by the organization and the actions to be taken to address these issues.

The Armenian FM introduced the recent developments in the peaceful settlement process of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict, reaffirming Armenia’s priorities in the peace settlement process.

In the context of the bilateral relations the minister said Armenia attaches great importance to the development of relations with Albania at different levels and formats. Both stated that there is a great potential to boost the cooperation between Armenia and Albania.
