FM Mnatsakanyan highlights holding to accepted approaches on NK conflict by CSTO member 
states

YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 27, ARMENPRESS.  Foreign Minister of Armenia Zohrab Mnatsakanyan, who is in Bishkek on a working visit, attended on November 27 the joint session of the CSTO Council of Ministers of Foreign Affairs, the CSTO Council of Ministers of Defense and the Committee of the Secretaries of Security Councils. In his speech Mnatsakanyan highlighted holding to accepted approaches on NK conflict by CSTO member states on any platforms.

As ARMENPRESS was informed from the press service of the MFA Armenia, referring to the vision of the Armenian side on the cooperation of the CSTO member states in the sidelines of the organization, Mnatsakanyan particularly highlighted the development of allied relations over foreign policy issues.

Presenting the recent developments over the peaceful settlement process of Nagorno Karabakah conflict, Zohrab Mnatsakanyan emphasized that under the light of the agreements of creating favorable atmosphere for peace and preparing peoples to peace, it becomes of key importance to refrain from militaristic rhetoric, hate speech and uncontrollable arms race, as well as taking extra measures for de-escalating the situation on the contact line. FM Mnatsakanyan highlighted holding to accepted approaches on NK conflict by CSTO member states on any platforms.

The Armenian FM also spoke about the situation resulted by the Turkish invasion into the Syrian territories, raising concerns also for the situation facing religious and ethnic minorities there. Minister Mnatsakanyan emphasized that Armenia will continue providing humanitarian aid to the friendly people of Syria.
