Vice Speaker Alen Simonyan seeks to introduce daylight saving time in Armenia
16:39, 22 November 2019YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 22, ARMENPRESS. Vice Speaker of Parliament Alen Simonyan is proposing to introduce daylight saving time.
He said he has already introduced a bill into circulation.
“It will enable to transition to summer time and save electricity, among others, by using the natural light,” he said in a statement.
The changes envisage advancing clocks by one hour at 02:00 on the last Sunday of March and retarding clocks by one hour at 03:00 on the last Sunday of October.
