YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 22, ARMENPRESS. Two persons are missing after climbing up the Azhdahak Mountain in Gegharkunik Province, Armenia.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations said they received a 911 call at 21:27, November 21 that contact with the two has been lost.  Azhdahak is the highest point of Geghama Mountains.

Search and rescue operations were commenced immediately. 15 civilians have joined forces with rescuers.

10:46 - The missing persons have been found and evacuated from the mountain by a rescue helicopter. Injuries were not reported.
