7% economic growth expected in Armenia by the end of year – PM Pashinyan

YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 14, ARMENPRESS.  The economic results of this year show that the measure of the Armenian Government aimed at the economic revolution are justified and effective, ARMENPRESS reports Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan said during the annual meeting of the American Chamber of Commerce in Armenia.

“Starting from the first days our Government declared the agenda of implementing an economic revolution in Armenia. In fact, for the first stage we announced the 3 main directions, First – fight against corruption, second – elimination of monopolies and third – fight against shadow economy”, Pashinyan said, emphasizing that the mentioned activities have proved to be effective, because this year 7% economic growth is expected.

At the same time, PM Pashinyan understands that the power of those tools is not eternal and it’s necessary to apply new tools to ensure future economic growth.
