YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 5, ARMENPRESS. Armenian President Armen Sarkissian thoroughly introduced his Greek counterpart on the negotiation process of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict, Armen Sarkissian said during a joint press conference with President of Greece Procopios Pavlopolos in Yerevan.

“I would like to thank for the support your government and you personally provide to the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairmanship, the only international format dealing with the settlement of the Artsakh conflict. Just a few minutes ago I thoroughly introduced you on the process of the negotiations for the Artsakh conflict. From the Armenian side the negotiations are run by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan. I share your approach that the international law is important and is a priority. I also share our discussion that each issue and conflict is really unique and it’s very difficult to put and compare the decisions or solutions within historical, political and international law boundaries. These solutions should be found within universal values and law”, the Armenian President said.

President of Greece Procopios Pavlopolos together with spouse Vlassia Pavlopoulou arrived in Armenia on an official visit on November 5 at the invitation of President Sarkissian.
