Putin, Erdogan discuss Syria in Sochi

YEREVAN, OCTOBER 22, ARMENPRESS. Russian President Vladimir Putin announced that the situation in Syria is tense, all see and understand this, therefore the consultations between Russia and Turkey on the matter are very demanded at the moment, RIA Novosti reported.

The two leaders are holding talks in Sochi on October 22.

“The situation in the region is quite tense, we all see and understand that, I think our today’s meeting, as well as our consultations are very demanded. I want to express hope that the level of the Russian-Turkish relations acquired recently will play a role for solving all these issues existing today in the region and will allow to find answers to all, even very complicated issues for the benefit of Turkey, Russia and all countries of the region”, the Russian President told his Turkish counterpart.
