YEREVAN, OCTOBER 19, ARMENPRESS. On October 19 Yerevan, the capital of Armenia, is celebrating its 2801st anniversary under the slogan “Yerevan In My Heart”.

A number of events will take place today in the capital city, starting from 19:00 until 22:00.

Music of different styles, including jazz, folk songs, pop, classical music, rock, will be performed in the 12 administrative districts of Yerevan.

“Erebuni-Yerevan” official event and a gala concert will be held today in the National Academy of Opera and Ballet after A. Spendiaryan. The Armenian State Symphony Orchestra led by principal conductor Sergey Smbatyan and the Armenian National Academic Choir led by Hovhannes Cheqijyan will perform during the event.
