Armenian and Georgian PMs are confident bilateral relations are going to have better course

YEREVAN, OCTOBER 15, ARMENPRESS. Prime Ministers of Armenia and Georgia Nikol Pashinyan and Giorgi Gakharia are confident that the relations of the two countries are going to have a better course.

At the meeting with his Georgian counterpart in Yerevan, the Armenian PM said the two countries will record better results through a joint work.

“Mr. Gagharia, I am very delighted to welcome you in Yerevan, the capital of Armenia as the Prime Minister of the brotherly Georgian people. I am happy that we managed to establish very warm working relations. From the very start of the meeting we have recorded that we are going to hold high-level talks, discussions and that the relations between the two countries will further improve. If I am asked what will I consider the achievements of the past one and a half year, I would mention the establishment of a new level of relations between Armenia and Georgia, which, I am confident will become better as a result of our joint work”, the Armenian PM said.

In his remarks the Georgian PM said it’s a great honor for him to be in Armenia on an official visit.

“Our ancestors have put a base for a great friendship. I can assure that our relations will further deepen, we will be able to fulfill our commitments which will affect every citizen”, he said. PM Gagharia said despite that the relations of the two countries are at a high level, the two sides agree that they have an opportunity to develop them in economic, infrastructural, cultural and other areas.
