Clarification is expected: MFA spox on incident of banning entry of Armenian reporters to 
Georgia

YEREVAN, OCTOBER 14, ARMENPRESS. Armenia’s foreign ministry is aware of the incident of banning the entry of Armenian journalists to Georgia’s territory.

During today’s press briefing Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Anna Naghdalyan presented details over the incident of banning Epress.am journalists to enter into Georgia.

“We are aware of the case. Our Embassy in Georgia has immediately contacted their Georgian partners. We have presented our approaches on the matter to the Georgian foreign ministry. We expect a clarification from the Georgian side. When it is received, our Embassy in Georgia will make a respective announcement”, she said.

Earlier certain media outlets have reported that on October 11 the reporters of Epress.am were banned to enter into Georgia after waiting at the Armenian-Georgian border checkpoint for more than 4 hours.
