YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 28, ARMENPRESS.   During the period from September 22-28 the Azerbaijani forces violated the ceasefire regime in the Artsakh-Azerbaijan line of contact over 150 times by firing nearly 1600 shots from various caliber weapons at the Armenian positions, the defense ministry of Artsakh told ARMENPRESS.

In addition to the ceasefire violations, on September 22 at about 16:15 the Azerbaijani side attempted a subversive penetration attempt. As a result, the Azerbaijanis were repelled, leaving 1 dead in the neutral zone.

During the week, the adversary also conducted a provocation in air, which was also successfully prevented by Artsakh's forces. Particularly, on September 25 at about 10:15, the air defense forces of Artsakh downed an ''ORBITER-2'' UAV of Azerbaijan conducting surveillance flight.

The front line units of the Defense Army confidently control the air and land borders of Artsakh.
