Investigators send writ to two media outlets in criminal case on Hayk Harutyunyan’s death

YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 24, ARMENPRESS. The Investigative Committee has sent a writ to the Hayeli and Armlur media outlets in connection with an article on the death of Hayk Harutyunyan that was published on their websites which was later denied by authorities for containing false information.

“As part of the criminal case launched regarding the death of Hayk Harutyunyan, a relevant writ has been sent to the editorial boards of Hayeli.am and Armlur.am websites to reveal the authors of the “I am being forced to give false testimonies, but Robert Kocharyan and Gegham Petrosyan aren’t guilty: Hayk Harutyunyan’s final words before suicide” and “Hayk Harutyunyan wasn’t alone at the time of the incident, his final words are revealed” articles and question them regarding the circumstances subject to clarification in the case,” Investigative Committee spokesperson Naira Harutyunyan said on Facebook.
