President hands over highest state awards and titles on occasion of 28th anniversary of independence
17:24, 20 September 2019YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 21, ARMENPRESS. On the occasion of the 28th anniversary of the independence of Armenia, highest state awards and titles were bestowed to the figures and citizens who had a great contribution in the fields of culture, education and state-building.
During an event in the Armenian presidential residence on September 20, President Armen Sarkissian handed over the awards and titles.
“Today I had a pleasant and honorable mission to hand over state awards and titles to the persons who deserved it with their dignified work. I am confident that each of you, by thinking of your work, carry out it with a deep consciousness and dedication of heart, soul and mind. Each of you is a true master of your job. Thank you all for your service and patriotic activity”, the President said.
