YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 16, ARMENPRESS. The Armenian parliament has adopted at final hearing amendments to the law on Guarantees of Members of Parliament Activities authored by opposition MP Sergey Bagratyan from the Prosperous Armenia (BHK) party.

The bill envisages that state and local self-governing bodies and officials must discuss and respond to a lawmaker’s written inquiry within a period of ten days.  In excusive cases when the matter in question requires additional work for obtaining information the lawmaker will receive the response within 30 days.
