Russian Ambassador comments on Putin’s expected visit to Armenia

YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 11, ARMENPRESS. The holding of the session of Supreme Eurasian Economic Council in Yerevan is a result of a joint decision, and Russian President Vladimir Putin is expected to attend the session, Russian Ambassador to Armenia Sergei Kopyrkin told reporters today.

Asked whether the reports that Putin may refuse to attend the session in Armenia, the Ambassador said these reports have nothing to do with the reality.

“The holding of the session of the EAEU Supreme Council in Yerevan is a result of a joint decision”, he said.

The session of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council will be held in Yerevan, Armenia, on October 1. Leaders of all EAEU member states are expected to participate in the session. EAEU member states are Russia, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan.
