Yerevan mayor denies resignation rumors
14:21, 10 September 2019YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 10, ARMENPRESS. Mayor of Yerevan Hayk Marutyan has denied media rumors on his resignation.
“We’ve only begun working, my first year in office hasn’t passed yet,” he told reporters.
“We have raised the city budget by 2 billion drams, we are revising all illegal tenders and privatizations. We have great plans, why should I resign?”
Addressing accusations regarding the waste management issue of Yerevan, the mayor said the problem has already been solved.
