YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 9, ARMENPRESS. A passenger of the S7 Airlines Yerevan-Moscow Flight 908 has been detained during boarding after claiming that he has a bomb in his hand luggage.

The Civil Aviation Committee said the man did not bring forward any demands.

Aviation safety service experts and police were immediately notified and the passenger was detained. His luggage was taken out of the aircraft for search. All other passengers were told to disembark the aircraft. Police searched the plane and did not find anything suspicious or banned and the man’s claim turned out to be false, according to the Civil Aviation Committee.

The passenger is in custody of the Zvartnots airport police.
