YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 3, ARMENPRESS. Judge Anna Danibekyan of the Yerevan Court of General Jurisdiction has set September 12 as the first day of the court hearing of ex-President Robert Kocharyan’s and other former officials’ case.

The first hearing will take place at 13:00, September 12 at the Shengavit courthouse of the Yerevan Court of General Jurisdiction.

Kocharyan, currently jailed in pre-trial detention, together with ex-minister of defense Michael Harutyunyan and former military official Yuri Khachaturov are charged with “overthrowing constitutional order” in the criminal investigation into the 2008 unrest in Yerevan.
