Armenian football federation disqualifies player for insulting opponent
12:11, 12 August 2019YEREVAN, AUGUST 12, ARMENPRESS. The Football Federation of Armenia (FFA) has fined the Urartu FC (formerly known as Banants FC) and disqualified one of its players.
During a Premier League match against Shirak FC, Artak Dashyan from Urartu FC had verbally insulted one of the player’s from the opposing team.
At a disciplinary committee session, the FFA decided to disqualify Dashyan for two matches and fine Urartu FC with 250,000 drams.
Shirak FC had won 3:1 in the abovementioned match.
