YEREVAN, JUNE 22, ARMENPRESS. The officers of Armenia’s State Revenue Committee’s Departments for Internal Security and Fight against Smuggling on June 19 prevented the import of a large number of drugs with Turkish-language labels from Georgia to Armenia through smuggling, the SRC told Armenpress.
According to the citizen’s statement, the drugs were obtained from Turkey, and Georgia acted as a transit zone in this case.
The State Revenue Committee of Armenia calls on the citizens to pay attention to the label issued by the SRC and the Armenian-language marking when purchasing drugs.
