YEREVAN, MARCH 22, ARMENPRESS. As a result of amendments to the 2019 city budget of Yerevan, an additional 8 billion drams will be allocated, making the total budget 91,1 billion, Mayor Hayk Marutyan’s deputy Hayk Sargsyan said at today’s City Council session.

In particular, an additional 38,257,000 drams will be allocated for the pre-development of a cable car, a new subway station etc.

225,000,000 will be provided for cultural programs, namely the 2801th Erebuni-Yerevan celebrations in late 2019 that will cost 140,000,000.

Funds will also be allocated for developing a new general plan of the city.
