YEREVAN, FEBRUARY 25, ARMENPRESS. U.S. President Donald Trump announced his plan to hold one of the biggest gatherings in the history of Washington, D.C., on July 4, the U.S. Independence Day, reports Armenpress.

“HOLD THE DATE! We will be having one of the biggest gatherings in the history of Washington, D.C., on July 4th. It will be called “A Salute To America” and will be held at the Lincoln Memorial. Major fireworks display, entertainment and an address by your favorite President, me!”, Trump said on Twitter.

In mid-February Trump announced that he is discussing the possibility of holding an event in Washington D.C. on July 4 which may become a tradition for the city. “That can be a very attractive day”, Trump said.
