Armenian deputy PM receives European Investment Bank’s delegation

YEREVAN, FEBRUARY 14, ARMENPRESS. Deputy Prime Minister of Armenia Tigran Avinyan received the delegation of the European Investment Bank (EIB) led by head of the Regional Representation for the South Caucasus Maciej Czura, the government told Armenpress.

Welcoming the guests, the deputy PM stated that there is a productive and successful partnership with the Bank and the programs being implemented by the support of the Bank contribute to Armenia’s sustainable development.

Tigran Avinyan said the analysis of all loan programs provided to Armenia is underway.

Maciej Czura thanked for the reception and stated that this year marks the 10th anniversary of the EIB partnership with Armenia during which the volume of all programs comprised nearly 380 million Euros. He said that the EIB’s priorities in Armenia are social and economic infrastructure, local private sector development and climate action.

The officials also touched upon the programs relating to the transport, water resource management system, energy and energy-efficiency, their implementation process.
