Ambassador Karen Nazaryan delivers copies of credentials to Substitute for General Affairs to the Secretary of State of Vatican
YEREVAN, FEBRUARY 13, ARMENPRESS. Newly appointed Ambassador of Armenia to Vatican Karen Nazaryan delivered the copies of his credential to Substitute for General Affairs to the Secretary of State of Holy See Archbishop Edgar Peña Parra on February 12.
As ARMENPRESS was informed from the press service of MFA Armenia, during the meeting the interlocutors talked about the ancient friendly relations between Armenia and Vatican.
Ambassador Nazaryan emphasized the importance of bilateral relations for Armenia with the Holy See and expressed readiness to expand the existing relations.
Congratulating the Ambassador on starting his diplomatic mission, Archbishop Edgar Peña Parra expressed confidence that the interstate relations between Armenia and Vatican will continue to develop.
The sides also referred to regional developments and expressed their views.
