YEREVAN, FEBRUARY 13, ARMENPRESS. State Revenue Committee (SRC) President Davit Ananyan has held a meeting with IMF tax administration technical support mission leader Vincent Koukpaizan, the SRC said.

Issues related to the IMF mission goals, current SRC issues, business processes and expected results were discussed. The sides particularly discussed the strategy of tax administration that is under development by the SRC and reforms of tax legislation. The process of introducing an online system of assessment and discovery of tax shadow was touched upon, as well as the need for defining and perfecting new standards of risks for tax inspections, highlighting leading international experience.

The IMF mission expressed readiness to provide the SRC with technical support for productive implementation of ongoing works in the direction of modernizing tax administration.

Both sides praised the cooperation process between the SRC and the IMF.
