YEREVAN, FEBRUARY 12, ARMENPRESS. Russian foreign minister Sergey Lavrov will hold telephone conversation with US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo on February 12, RIA Novosti reports.

“The State Department has asked to organize a phone conversation today with Mike Pompeo. It will be held. Pompeo, probably, wants to inform me something over Venezuela”, Lavrov told reporters after the talks with the foreign minister of Finland.

Lavrov also informed that he is going to discuss the Venezuelan crisis with the EU’s Federica Mogherini at their upcoming meeting. “My meeting with Federica Mogherini is being planned for the coming days. Of course, we will discuss the situation in Venezuela and the EU’s position on the matter”, Lavrov said.
