YEREVAN, FEBRUARY 4, ARMENPRESS. Armenian foreign minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan commented on the statement of German Chancellor Angela Merkel regarding the courageous steps taken by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, reports Armenpress.

“What has been done by Mr. Pashinyan is courage. By talking about peace doesn’t mean that someone questions the determination. But by talking about the peace which relates to the peoples of Armenia, Azerbaijan and Karabakh, is courage. We will welcome if the next side comes up with a similar statement”, the FM said.

During a joint press conference with Armenian PM Nikol Pashinyan in Berlin, German Chancellor Angela Merkel, in response to the question regarding the Nagorno Karabakh conflict settlement, stated that the Armenian Premier has taken courageous steps over the NK conflict settlement, but it still remains to see if the other side will take such brave steps as well.
