Sargsyan sums up the year  

YEREVAN, DECEMBER 7, ARMENPRESS. Board Chairman of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) Tigran Sargsyan ha ssummed up the results of 2017 and referred to the key events of 2018. As ARMENPRESS was informed from the press service of the EEC, during a traditional meeting with American and European business circles Sargsyan noted in his speech that many EAEU economic spheres, such as trade or transport, have grown in 2017.

“A number of decisions that fostered the integration process of the EAEU have been adopted, but we still have to take many decisive steps to bring into life the 4 freedoms enshrined in the EAEU Treaty”, Tigran Sargsyan said.

Tigran Sargsyan assessed the key result of the year, as well as the most expected event of 2018 the entry into force of the Customs Code of the Eurasian Economic Union.

“We have spent a lot of time and efforts to develop it. I am thankful to the Presidents and Heads of Government of the member states who paid much attention to the key formulations of the Code”, EEC Board Chairman said, adding that it’s very important that the document was developed with the participation of the business environment.
