YEREVAN, JUNE 12, ARMENPRESS. Yerevan City Council’s ‘Yelk’ faction will attend the re-inauguration ceremony of Mayor Taron Margaryan, the faction’s member Anahit Bakhshyan told reporters at the Yerevan Municipality on June 12, reports Armenpress

“We came to work, this is part of our work. Yerevan residents voted for us, and I think it is not so important whether we will take part in the re-inauguration ceremony or not. I don’t think we solve an important issue by participating in it or not”, she said.

Assessing Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan’s work over the past years, Bakhshyan said 30% of issues raised by him has been solved, and expressed hope this time she and Taron Margaryan will manage to carry out a lot of works for Yerevan’s development.

‘Yerkir Tsirani’ faction will not take part in the re-inauguration ceremony. Head of the party Zaruhi Postanjyan informed that the party will hold a session at the same hour to discuss the initiative of erecting the statue of 28th US President and Nobel Peace Prize Laureate Thomas Woodrow Wilson.
