YEREVAN, JUNE 7, ARMENPRESS. Speaker of the National Assembly of Armenia Ara Babloyan sent a condolence letter to the Speaker of the Majlis of the Islamic Republic of Iran Ali Ardeshir Larijani. As “Armenpress” was informed from the press service of the parliament of Armenia, the message runs as follows,

“Honorable college,

We learned with deep sorrow about the terror attack near the parliament of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the mausoleum of Imam Khomeini, claiming lives and injuring numerous innocent people.

Deeply condemning this barbaric act, on behalf of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia and personally me, we offer our deepest condolences and solidarity to you, the relatives and families of the killed, the friendly people of Iran,wishing them fortitude and patience, and quick recovery to the injured.

We strictly condemn the extreme manifestations based on intolerance and hatred. Our consolidated efforts should be directed to the fight against this dreadful phenomenon.
