YEREVAN, MAY 27, ARMENPRESS. The staff of the ministry of economic development and investments joined the nationwide community work (clean-up day) day on May 27, within the framework of Clean Armenia program.

The staff carried out cleaning works in the parks next to Stepan Shahumyan and Alexander Myasnikyan Squares, in the ministry’s building and adjacent areas.

Within the framework of Clean Armenia, the state tourism committee announced a campaign, whereby each citizen can become involved in the program.

Citizens can take photos of unattended waste areas in locations which are tourism attraction, send it to the committee’s Facebook page by mentioning the province, city, community and date of the photo. The committee is posting results of cleaning activities on its FB page.
